Dracaena fragrans 'Golden Queen' is a striking, upright houseplant with broad, glossy leaves streaked with vibrant golden-yellow. A cousin of the ever-popular corn plant, this variety brings a tropical, architectural touch to your space without demanding much in return. Plant Care
Light:
Enjoys bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light, but leaf colour will be most vivid in bright conditions. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
Watering:
Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Dracaenas dislike soggy roots and are sensitive to fluoride in tap water—use filtered or rainwater if possible.
Temperature:
Thrives in 18–26°C. Avoid cold draughts and temperatures below 12°C.
Potting:
Our A Sandy Loam mix is ideal—free-draining with light moisture retention. Repot only when rootbound.
Hot tips:
Wipe the leaves occasionally to keep them glossy and dust-free. Browning leaf tips are usually a sign of overwatering or tap water sensitivity.
Pet Friendly: No
