Anthurium (Zara × Michelle) × ‘Fort Sherman’ combines traits from Anthurium ‘Zara’ and Anthurium ‘Michelle’ (both hybrids themselves), crossed with Anthurium Fort Sherman. The result is a plant with lush, heart‑to‑broad‑heart shaped leaves, typically dark‑toned (deep green, burgundy/green tones). Emerging leaves often carry more colour contrast; mature leaves tend toward deeper background tones with sheen and texture influenced by Fort Sherman’s genetics. Growth habit tends to be upright to arching leaves rather than fully pendant, though leaf posture may soften under lower light or with larger size.

Because all parent lines are from tropical aroid hybrids, this plant shows hybrid vigour in leaf‐size, colour contrast, and is somewhat more forgiving than many pure species, but it still demands good ambient conditions to express its best.

Native to:
This is a cultivated hybrid; its “native” conditions are inferred from the rainforest habitats of its parent lineages. Zara and Michelle are Doc Block cultivars developed in Florida but originating from tropical climates, likely Central/South America. Fort Sherman is similarly a papillilaminum cultivar. The natural preferences are shaded, warm, moist forest understoreys with dappled light and high humidity.

Water:
Water the plant when the top ~ ⅓ of the substrate starts to dry out. Use a well‑draining, airy medium (mixes with orchid bark, perlite, maybe some sphagnum or fine bark) to avoid waterlogging. Ensure the pot has good drainage and don’t allow standing water. Overwatering will cause root problems; letting things dry out too much will reduce leaf quality and slow growth.

Light:
Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct light (especially afternoon sun) which could scorch leaves or wash out colour. Light from an east or filtered south/west window works, or use a sheer curtain. If light is weak, venation might become less crisp, colours more muted, and growth slower. Supplemental lighting during dull winter months can help maintain vigour and colour.

Humidity:
High humidity (around 65‑80 %) supports the best growth and colour contrast. Lower humidity can lead to brown leaf edges, dulling of veins, or loss of sheen. Using a humidifier, grouping plants together, or placing the plant in a greenhouse‑style cabinet helps. Because this hybrid is not huge, it can be placed in more controlled humidity conditions without needing a full greenhouse.

Temperature:
Maintain warmth: roughly 18‑27 °C is ideal. Do not allow temperatures to drop below ~ 15‑16 °C. Avoid cold drafts or sudden fluctuations in temperature, which can stress leaves and lead to damage or slowed growth. Stable warmth helps maintain colour saturation and leaf health.

Mr. Diggy approves two paws up
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 5.25 Pound (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 5.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
These just arrived earlier today, and Mr. Diggy just had one a little while ago. Well, it was gone fast. He is 60 pounds and 14 years old and loves his treats so I make sure I have good ones for him because he can’t have that many. What a nice strong bone and you could smell the peanut butter. He was so excited he took it and went to lay down. He only does that with special things. I feed my dog and cats, Purina pro and I can see since they’ve been eating it that it agrees with them and makes their coats, soft and shiny besides. That’s why I bought these because they are made by Purina and there’s no rawhide I bought the larger bone and I’m glad I did. It’s a good size for him. They call him a medium sized dog, but they never tried to pick him up lol I am going to check now and see what other flavors they have although peanut butter is his favorite Try them I think your dog will like them. Mr. Diggy gives two paws up for these.

smells good, teething puppy loves gnawing on it as I hold it.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 2.19 Pound (Pack of 1)
I normally don't do treats like this, but my mom had purchased a small pack for my dogs. I was reticent to try it, but with a new puppy I was looking for something for little miss alligator teeth to chomp on that isn't my fingers. It worked out so well (I held it while she gnawed) that I purchased a big pack. While not meant for puppies, it has been working well for her to have something to grind her teeth on. Currently 10 weeks old, 20 lbs (a yellow lab) with super razor sharp teeth that is all about chomping on everything in her path. These slow her down for several minutes. She is blissed out as she works on it. Have to say, these arent super long lasting even with a tiny-ish puppy. But at least the price is good. We have had the original (pretty much no odor) and these peanut butter ones which even smell good to me! I may consider these again. Be mindful of calories! 343 calories a piece. Be mindful of their serving suggestion based on size of dog. This isnt meant to be a meal, and not meant for daily consumption. More of the rare treat style. Ingredients Rice, vegetable glycerin, wheat flour, water, brewers dried yeast, chicken by-product meal, hydrogenated corn syrup, sugar, corn germ meal, beef tallow preserved with mixed-tocopherols, pork, natural and artificial peanut butter flavor, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, wheat gluten, phosphoric acid, salt, sorbic acid (a preservative), gelatin, calcium propionate (a preservative), BHA (a preservative), BHT (a preservative), calcium carbonate, citric acid.

I would recommend.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 2.19 Pound (Pack of 1)
I was given a bag of these as a gift, and I decided to rebuy because my puppy loved them so much. But after eating two out of this big bag she doesn't like them anymore. But my pup can be very picky. An adult dog can wipe one of these out really quickly, so it might be something you want to watch if your dog is a vigorous chewer. But I never saw a piece come off that was big enough for my dog to choke on. My sister's dog loves them, so I think my puppy is just spoiled and super picky.

"Busy" is right.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 2.19 Pound (Pack of 1)
These are plenty big, so your dog will have a good ol' time with it. Probably won't do much else till it's gone. Not sure "chew" is an accurate description, it's more of a gnawing and slobbering kind of process. Drool seems to soften them up. Don't give them one on the bed or couch. They are hard, resilient, and rather dense, but not crunchy; they don't break up like a biscuit would. And the center is sort of like a very stiff taffy. But it took me way more licks than a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop, I can tell you. Our little dogs tackled one that I cut in half, and they did pretty well. But they really are too big for small dogs.
