ANJAN 2 - 3 SEASON  /  YELLOW LABEL TENT

Hilleberg Anjan 2 Tent was designed specifically as a super-light tent for mobile adventures in warmer and snow-free conditions and mostly protected terrain.

This tent is a 3 season tent, designed for warmer conditions.

The Anjan tents have catenary patterning on the outer tent walls to ensure constant venting while still offering excellent protection from the rain, and their single opening pole sleeves offer quick pitching. Their inner tents have an all mesh door and a large mesh vent in the rear wall for continual air flow. For very warm conditions, you can fully roll up the rear wall of the outer tent, and you can completely roll away the Anjan’s vestibule.

Both the Anjan and Anjan GT models are perfect for 3-season backpacking and summer bicycle tours, and are well-suited for hunters on scouting trips or on early season hunts.

The Anjan 2 makes a deluxe solo tent, and the Anjan 3 is lightweight luxury for two. Even the Anjan 2 GT and Anjan 3 are surprisingly light – yet huge – solo shelter options for those who hold spaciousness in the highest regard!

Features of the Hilleberg Anjan 2 Tent

  • Tent Fabric:  Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric,  and 9mm poles make for a very lightweight tent that is still quite strong.
  • 3 season design: ventilation is built into the construction, and the inner tent mesh areas have no backing fabric panels.
  • Tunnel construction offers maximum space to weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys.
  • A good amount of room for two occupants and their gear.
  • Tunnel design requires only four pegs for pitching, and the simple, single-opening, continuous sleeve and pole tensioner pole system is quick to pitch and remarkably stable.
  • A single entrance and vestibule afford easy access and plenty of storage space, but keep the weight very low.
  • Inner and Outer Tents
    • Linked but separable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching.
    • The inner tent can be replaced with a Mesh Inner tent (sold separately)
    • The outer and inner tents can be used separately.
    • Pitching the inner tent alone requires optional pole holders.
  • Footprint (Sold Separately)
    • An optional footprint covers only the inner tent area and not the vestibule.
    • It connects directly to the tent and can be left attached during pitching.
  • Extended Vestibule – GT Version Tents:
  • An extended vestibule on the GT version allows for greater storage space and flexibility

Nice way to learn about a trip to D.C.
    Format: Flexibound
I got this for my kids to read before we went to Washington D.C. The pages are colorful, illustrated, and have short bursts of interesting details about the various attractions available to tourists who are visiting. My kids were eager to find the places on our itinerary and read about them ahead of time. They learned what to expect and were sure not to miss the important aspects of our tours. This book is recommended for 9 to 12 year olds and I think that is the perfect range. There is just enough information to peak their interest and not so much that they get bored by reading a bunch of text. The Table of Contents wasn't that informative in finding specific places, but the index was. My kids preferred to leaf through the whole book and find what was interesting to them.

Not good for travel, picture book only
    Format: Flexibound
This is a beautiful book with fantastic illustrations and an engaging color palette. It includes a good variety of historical background information and sightseeing locations. However, it is a better picture book for browsing only. It is not a good travel book for kids to plan their own adventures. Who has ever heard of a travel book without maps?! No maps, no directions, no coordinating subway/bus maps. The printing is exceptionally small, almost too small to read. The book should have been made larger to accommodate the text. The text is excellent, but it printed as if the publisher never expected the kid/parent to read it. On one hand, our family really enjoyed how engaging the book appeared, but we were disappointed in its quality as a travel book. It shouldn’t be marketed as a travel book, but a geography book series.

    I loved the switch!
New Yorker Haley found herself on a remote Australian cattle station working as a Jillaroo. One of her roommates is veteran rancher Jenna who is to show her the ropes as part of the contract with this fully paid "switch!". They soon find out that Haley is the worst Jillaroo ever, but she tries very hard and never gives up. I loved all the Aussie terms and descriptions and felt comfortably immersed in the Outback experience! Cheyenne wrote a beautiful story that was serious, yet humorous, filled with very enjoyable characters. I also enjoyed the way in which she crafted their love story and the way in which Haley became a part of the ranch's community. Well done, Cheyenne. This book was totally enjoyable!
