VR3 is a collection of machines that combine striking appearance, excellent performance, genuine comfort and accessibility — without sacrificing the goal of functionality. If you want form and performance, the VR3 line delivers both.The VR3 dependent motion offers a feeling of security to new and average users. By having both arms working together in a fixed plane, the exercise feels better controlled for a comfortable and secure training movement. The VR3 diverging path of motion mirrors the natural way the human arms move. It provides a more complete range of motion with constant torque at the shoulder. In the pulldown exercise, thigh pads are what keep you in the seat when using heavier weights. The adjustability of the thigh pads in VR3 means that users with varying leg lengths are accommodated so the machine works for veteran strength trainers as well as beginners. This is the commercial strength line that competes with the best others have to offer. A group of machines that combines striking appearance with rugged durability, VR3 has been engineered to take the tough punishment a heavy duty commercial environment requires. And it works for the highly supervised gyms as well as the self-serve facility. The VR3 offers dual grips – the standard grip as well as a neutral grip which is favorable for individuals with compromised shoulders. In addition, the grips are angled to provide a neutral wrist position.

  • Range Limiting Device: This CYBEX patent-pending technology ensures that regardless of starting position selected, the cam is synchronized with each individual user. It matches their performance level, maintaining the integrity of force curve throughout the range of motion while taking into account their limits and abilities. Start RLD (adjustable start only) provides start positions every 10˚. Total RLD (adjustable start and finish) provides start and end positions every 10˚
  • Fully Enclosed Weight Stacks: Enclosed weight stacks help shield bystanders and users from inadvertent contact with the moving weight stack, creating a safer workout environment. The fully enclosed stacks give a sleek appearance and comply with ASTM and EN standards.
  • Dependent Converging and Diverging Movement: The dependent movement provides a feeling of exceptional stability and ease throughout each movement, while the aligned path of motion provides consistent loading through the complete range. The consistent torque application maximizes the training force of the muscle while minimizing joint stress. Users of all levels will embrace the progress they make.
  • Gas Assist Seat: Our intuitive seat base adjustment design uses gas spring assist to allow adjustments to the seat height without requiring the user to leave the machine. Both the seat base and seat backs have position indicators to enable the user to consistently duplicate a position on the machine.
  • Second Generation Twist Select Increment Weight System: Patent-pending system allows user to adjust the weight 5 pounds (2.5 kg) at a time with a simple turn of the knob—nothing to slide, drop or lose. Patent-pending system is also completely balanced for drag free operation and includes integrated oiling capabilities, resulting in reduced time and mess associated with guide rod maintenance.
  • Contoured Molded Pads: Ergonomically contoured molded pads provide better support for a variety of movements, as well as a more contemporary overall look.

Chewed up screws in the hinges look like someone took them out and put them back in several times... or salvaged them from another unit. On the whole, it doesn't seem sturdy. I'll be folding it up and re-deploying it several times a week, so I'll be surprised if it will still stand up in a year. Not a good value for the price, really, except that demand on these right now has prices pushed upward. I'd be happy enough if I'd spent $39.99 rather than over a hundred.

Nice partition for my basement

This 3-panel room divider showed up well-packaged with all the parts and even a little tool for putting it together. The instructions were easy to follow, and while one person can definitely assemble it, having two makes it quicker and less frustrating. It does exactly what I needed—gives quick, easy coverage in an open area. I'm using it in my basement to hide the furnace and water heater, and it works great for that. It looks nice overall, but I picked the beige fabric (which is really more of a tan), and the black frame makes it stand out more than I’d like. A white or lighter frame would’ve blended better. Not sure that I would use it anywhere besides the basement It’s lightweight and pretty sturdy. The wheels make it easy to move, but it does get a bit wobbly, and the panel clips need to be readjusted every time you roll it somewhere new. Still, for the price, it’s a solid buy. I’m happy with it and planning to order another one.

I am perennially in the process of rearranging, reorganizing, getting ready for yard sales, changing the functions of various rooms, moving everything out of a room to do a deep clean, etc, which means that there is always SOME part of my house, if not the entire thing, that is a disaster zone. Having someone knock on my door triggers a "duck and cover" reflex because it's so embarrassing for anyone to see that I live like this. (I *feel* like I don't, really, because I know that all the various stages are all temporary, but when there's always something temporary going on, it might as well be permanent, you know?) So THANK HEAVENS for a room divider that is not only large enough to divide my uncomfortably long den in half the long way so I can shove all the messy parts up against the back wall -- that is not only simple and attractive and neutral and (this is important) NOT BLACK because I have multiple pets and anything black in this house will be pet-hair-colored within 20 seconds -- that not only has **SIX** panels for lots of options of how I want to divide the space/s -- but is also on WHEELS. Someone out there really does love me, it's true! The panels are stable *enough* - I'm not going to lie and say that nothing is going to knock them over, because I have some balance issues, and I also have cats, and both of those circumstances has resulted in a mess on at least one occasion. But in the cats' defense, they've never dealt with a room partition that didn't hang from the ceiling before; and in my defense, I just grabbed the first thing I could reach on the way down. Not the product's fault in either case. Assembly was a little dicey as I am currently in **bilateral** (oh yes, that's fun) wrist braces, so I had to give up until I had help. But I think if you're able-bodied, you shouldn't have any difficulty. The only down side is, now that I've hidden away all the mess so I can break out the holiday decorations, you know what happens next, right?? That's right... the PERMA-MESS ZONE. Oh no. Oh well.
