The Auris Glockenspiel is very finely tuned with a clear, pure overtone. With a crystal clear, spherical tone it creates a lovely sound experience. A percussion instrument, the glockenspiel is played with wood or plastic mallets. Finished with beeswax to protect the natural gloss of the brass. The brass surface of the keys will obtain a patina and look better the more it is used. Also available is this simpler, Auris 3 tone Glockenspiel.

Care of Your Auris Glockenspiel
- The wood body is primed with shellac and is finished with a beeswax polish. Occasionally polish with a beeswax polish and rub with a smooth, soft cloth.
- Marks from wax crayons may be removed with turpentine.
- To maintain the shining surface of the tone bars, polish occasionally with a brass polish, then lightly apply beeswax onto the bars and rub it with a soft cloth.
- To remove scratches in the metal use very fine steel wool. Be very careful to move the wool EXACTLY ALONG the direction of the tone bar to prevent scratching. Start the process with a light pressure to see if the wool you've chosen gives a structure similar to the original.
