EQD Special Cranker Pedal
The EarthQuaker Devices Special Cranker is a pedal for enjoying the little things in life - a cool breeze, chirping birds, Silicon and Germanium diode clipping structures, you know, the little things.
This production model of the Special Cranker is EQD's all-analog discrete distortion enhancement device. In short, this pedal gives your signal a loving kick with boost and grit without overwhelming your overall sound, essentially, making you sound like you. The power chords will have the rugged throw you’re looking for, while the single notes will stay rich, making sure the essence of your tones is maintained.
The special cranker pedal's intuitive interface and dual-mode diode setup offer a wide range of sounds compatible with a vast array of tones and rigs. Pick sensitive and highly versatile, the Special Cranker spans a spectrum of subtle signal saturation that highlights your sound's unique characteristics and nuances without getting in the way. The pedal covers bases for warm treble boosts, medium gain overdrives, and many spots in between. Silicon and Germanium diode clipping options gives the EQD Special Cranker even more tonal versatility.
For long walks on the beach, perfectly brewed cups of coffee, and seamless pedalboard integration, the Special Cranker delivers for moments of deep exhales.
You will need a 9V DC power supply to run the analog EQD Special Cranker. Check out more specs below.
