The MXR EVH Modern High Gain delivers the powerful, saturated tone inspired by Eddie Van Halen’s modern high-gain amp sound in a compact pedal format. Designed in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen, this pedal captures the tight low end, rich harmonic content, and aggressive sustain associated with the legendary EVH 5150 amplifier platform.

Engineered for flexibility, the EVH Modern High Gain features a full set of controls for output, gain, bass, mid, and treble, allowing players to dial in everything from articulate crunch to full-on modern distortion. A built-in noise gate helps keep high-gain tones tight and controlled, while the Boost switch adds extra saturation and compression for lead work and heavier rhythm tones.
