These colourful mini seedball tins make great little wildflower gifts for loved ones, friends, family and teachers. Or cute party or wedding favours!
Each tin contains 5 wildflower seed balls, each packed with approximately 30 wildlife-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Common Toadflax, Cornflower, Cowslip, Meadow Cranesbill, Musk Mallow, Oxeye Daisy and Red Campion.
The seeds have been specifically chosen to attract bees and other pollinators to your garden. These bee-friendly plants provide essential food sources for these vital creatures, contributing to biodiversity and healthier ecosystems.
No green thumbs required! Just scatter the seed balls on soil or compost and let nature take over. Watch your eco-friendly space flourish! Regular watering will help them grow faster. For window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens. each tin will cover 1-2 pots. Simple to use, no need for gardening expertise or even a need to dig!
Please note: this is for one tin only. Choose between the colours.
Created by conservation scientists and 100% British made, Seedball is a unique innovation to help more people grow bee and butterfly-friendly wildflowers. They are manufactured in-house using a mixture of UK-native seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder to create a protective casing against seed predators (e.g. birds and ants).
They’re incredibly easy to use - scatter (no digging!) on top of soil, and with rain and warm sun, the seeds will grow!
Size: 1.6cm high, 3.6cm diameter
Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
The last 50 years has been witness to huge declines in pollinators and other garden wildlife, but together we can really really do something to reverse this.
97% of natural bee and butterfly habitat has been lost in the UK since WW2. 97%. Ninety Seven Percent. It's frightening and critical.
With your help, we can start to restore the lost wildflower habitat and make an important contribution to the biodiversity of Great Britain 🌻
Emily & Ana, the creators of Seedball, are on a mission to help increase the abundance of British wildflowers and wildlife that depend upon them. They believe that if we can all better use whatever space we have available to us (whether a back garden, balcony, window box, little patio etc) we can together have a hugely beneficial impact on our local ecosystems.
They want Seedball to inspire a wildlife gardening revolution while providing a very handy way of going about it! Conservation is in the heart and soul of Seedball and one day we dream to fund their own Seedball wildflower reserves.
