They like bright filtered light and can change color to a more of a golden yellow tint in bright sunlight. These plants though slow growing, can grow to be over 4-6 feet long. The T. latifolia emits a long inflorescence when in bloom with red/yellow bracts and produces hot pink flowers. Since these plants live in drier regions in the wild, they can withstand more sunlight and less water than most air plants.They like a moderate watering.
