As with any seed you plant, this mix will still require some sunlight to germinate and grow appropriately. We recommend at least 4 hours of sun per day. Seeding Rate: 6 lbs. per acre Fertilizer: 300

Growing food plots in shady areas is notoriously difficult.  That is why we developed our Shade Blend which is a mix of ladino clover, crimson clover, forage rape, and annual ryegrass.  This blend is designed to germinate and thrive in low sun conditions.  As with any seed you plant, this mix will still require some sunlight to germinate and grow appropriately.  We recommend at least 4 hours of sun per day.

      North: April 1 -  June 1, August 1 - September 15th
