Für 29-Zoll-Fahrräder gibt Ortlieb an, dass die Kompatibilität begrenzter ist, da die Reifen nicht breiter als 2,3" sein dürfen. Dank seiner Sattelstützenbefestigung, die sich anpasst und bis zu 300 mm reichen kann, passt er sich an verschiedene Fahrradgeometrien an.

Der große Vorteil dieses Gepäckträgers ist die Montagezeit, die Ortlieb mit der 15/5-Methode angibt. Dies beschreibt die Montage- und Demontagezeiten des Gepäckträgers, die oft kompliziert und langwierig sind.
