Philodendron bakeri is a climbing or scandent species that is not seen in cultivation. These plants were grown from collected seed. We only got germination of 5 plants and so this will be a very small offering. 

Native to tropical Central America and parts of northern South America, its natural range spans Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. It is found in moist forest habitats where it climbs over trunks or rocks in the understory.

Water: Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Let the upper portion of the potting mix begin to dry before watering again. Avoid allowing the roots to sit in free water.

Light: Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Direct sunlight may burn the leaves. In lower light the plant will grow more slowly.

Humidity: Aim for moderate to high humidity (≥ 60 %). In drier indoor environments it may show brown tips or slower growth. Using a humidifier or a humidity tray can help.

Temperature: Maintain daytime temperatures around 20‑28 °C, and avoid going below about 15–18 °C at night. Protect from cold drafts or sudden drops.
