The time-travelling forest guardian — in a piece of connected artwork history. This Celebi Holo Rare No.251 from the Japanese Neo Revelation (Awakening Legends) set is illustrated by Sumiyoshi Kizuki and carries a uniquely special provenance among Neo era Japanese cards.
The artwork is part of a combined triptych illustration that includes Sudowoodo and Sneasel — all three cards together form a single continuous connected scene. This Japanese print features the Awakening Legends promotional symbol, identifying it as a special promotional addition to the Neo Revelation expansion, and was distributed as part of Premium File 3. A set of three postcards featuring the full ensemble artwork was distributed in Volume 11 of Pokémon Card Trainers magazine on May 1, 2001.
The Gold border, sparkle-pattern holofoil background, and Awakening Legends era card stock give this card an immediately distinct and collectible presence. Illustrated by Sumiyoshi Kizuki — a celebrated Neo era Pokémon TCG illustrator — the artwork shows Celebi darting through a cosmic, forest-spirit energy field in a composition that perfectly captures its time-travelling Mythical nature.
A Grass-type Basic at LV.14 with 50 HP, featuring Psycho Leaf — flip coins equal to the number of Energy the opponent has attached, dealing 10+ extra damage per heads and removing that many damage counters from itself — a clever self-healing counter attack.
