Our patented 3 layer Frontier Fabric was built by a collaboration between the engineers at James Baroud and our exclusive supplier based in Portugal.

It boasts the highest insulation, wind noise reduction, and light blocking in its class. Better performance means a better night’s rest.

Some of the marvels of the Odyssey tent are its shape and views from the inside. We always chose an organic element as inspiration for structure. The Odyssey takes its shape from the intricate curvatures of the whale shark. This design is not only eye-catching but has less wind resistance thus reducing fuel consumption. We’re also proud to feature the only tent with a 360 degree panoramic view, this not only enables incredible views, but also creates better drafts which help the tent cool down faster during warmer temperatures.

Our principles are simple, minimal impact to our environment, best quality materials and make all features easy to use. No need to overcomplicate this.

 

Those who know us are familiar with our solar powered vent fan, complementary camp light and best in class comfort mattress. But the Odyssey contains a few hidden gems to boost durability and convenience. Struts can be changed out to handle heavier weights on the rooftop bars, the bottom hull comes with a thicker lining to reduce noise and provide more insulation, and every latch is handmade from scratch in-house from a high-density polymer to prevent rust and wear from the elements.

Founded in 1999, we have been perfecting the art of tent making through high quality fabrics, mindful design and exquisite craftsmanship. We made use of these shelving brackets in our kitchen remodel. They turned out great. We used 2x12 Douglas Fur boards that were sanded and painted to show contrast with the brackets. The brackets installed easy enough with a level, tape measure, pencil, and a drill for pilot holes. Other reviewers are correct: the mounting screws that come with it are essentially junk. I had read this and ordered black wood screws ahead of time with the hopes of returning them. I used the 1" screws to secure the shelving to the brackets. The 2-1/2" screws get to go back as we were able to use the included screws to secure the brackets to the wall. But, two of the first three heads on the 1" screws popped off... so, we quickly moved away from those included. There is a little more flex in the brackets than I had expected... they're just a little too thin for 11-1/2" shelves. It won't affect anything for us as we'll just be placing dry food and canned goods on them in our pantry. But, if I were using them for the garage or the shop I'd probably buy a different brand OR decrease the space between brackets. I spaced mine out 12" from each edge and then 12" on center. Works well for our pantry.
