The UH-1 is the latest addition to Low Light Innovations’ product line, designed to meet a broad range of end-user needs by building on the modular strengths of the MH-1. It retains the proven features that made the MH-1 successful while introducing robust electronics with dual IR emitters and manual gain control compatible with both 3‑pin and EGAC systems. The UH-1’s compartmentalized modules simplify assembly and repair, and its interlocking hinge mechanism enhances articulation durability for prolonged field use, delivering a reliable, serviceable solution for diverse low-light applications.

This Binocular includes the essential features you’d expect from a solid binocular: a positive and oversized on/off switch which is used as the dual IR Control, tethered battery cap, and aluminum dovetail. More specifically, the UH-1 is constructed from a proprietary polymer material that shields the device’s electronic components and protects against potentially damaging or structure-degrading chemical agents. It also incorporates quality-of-life improvements such as adjustable interpupillary distance (IPD) stops allowing even the narrowest of settings auto pod shutoff when articulating the arms to the side or up, and an electronic low-battery indicator visible during use. The UH-1 runs on AA batteries with external power input via Fischer 4-pin connector. Both sources can be connected at the same time, and onboard smart circuit logic provides automatic failover if external power is interrupted. Continuous runtime is approximately 25 to 90 hours depending on configuration and power source.This entire package exceeds both MIL-STD-810G and NATO 1.5 m drop test standards.

Commercial Grade: Our commercial specification optics, used in all our starter kits, are Singaporean-made and compatible with all standard PVS-14 threaded accessories. These lenses do not meet the same MIL-PRF-A3256342A standard as Noctis/Fuji lenses but deliver similar performance across the board. They may produce a slightly less contrast-heavy image but offer an excellent performance-to-price ratio, providing a clear and sharp image that lets the image intensifier’s resolution speak for itself.

Noctis Technologies: The Noctis Tech/Fuji PVS-14 optics are the gold standard for balanced night vision optics in the modern market. Compatible with practically any current or upcoming goggle or monocular, these lenses deliver outstanding light transmission, exceed MIL-PRF-A3256342A standards, and provide a razor-sharp image while minimizing light flare and distortion. These are the lenses with the deep blue hue we all know and recognize.
