TUNED FOR THE ROAD

Riders are constantly exposed to a wide range of noises while out on the road. Some of which can be distracting, cause fatigue, and potentially lead to long term hearing damage. Active Noise Cancellation technology can help control the sounds riders are exposed to. However, unlike traditional Active Noise Cancellation systems, this system isn’t built for airplanes or coffee shops, it’s tuned for the road.

OUTSTANDING AEROACOUSTICS PERFORMANCE

Since the first CONCEPT helmet, outstanding aeroacoustic performance has been one of the distinguishing elements of all SCHUBERTH modular helmets. During the development of the C5 ANC our technicians worked with Cardo Sound Labs, spending more than 200 hours in SCHUBERTH property wind tunnel optimising the helmet shell design and the ANC tuning.

 All these elements allow the C5 ANC to achieve new levels of noise reduction, and improved rider experience while on the road.

CONTROL THE NOISE

Developed in conjunction with Cardo, and using SCHUBERTH’s proprietary calibration and tuning for the C5 ANC helmet, the SC Edge ANC system specifically targets wind and turbulence noise that causes rider fatigues and potential long term hearing damage, while retaining essential sounds like the engine noise, surrounding traffic and emergency sirens.

This proprietary filtering ensure that riders can retain the passive safety sounds that they need to hear, while eliminating the noise that causes distraction.

All of this is done with one clear goal: Control the noise, Amplify the ride.

53 MM SPEAKERS

The C5 ANC is supported by new powerful 53-millimeter ANC speakers, developed with Cardo, providing it with industry leading clarity and depth of audio, crystal clear communication and connectivity.Whether it’s conversations on your SC Edge ANC comms systems, or listening to your favourite songs, the new ANC speakers redefine in-helmet audio with an immersive, high-fidelity experience, delivering depth and precision that set a completely new benchmark.

CARDO POWERED COMMUNICATION

At the heart of this revolutionary C5 ANC is the SC Edge ANC communications system. A communications unit powered by the Cardo Edge chip set, that has all the functionality of our SC Edge communication system as well as the addition of ANC functionaily.Featuring a reliable group communication through the 2^nd generation DMC Mesh technology, Bluetooth 5.2, Natural Voice operation, Over-The-Air software updates and a range up to 1.6 km.

SAFETY FIRST

At SCHUBERTH safety is our main focus. With the C5 ANC, SCHUBERTH introduces an additional P/J and ECE-R 22.06 homologated helmet. This includes a DFP Fiber Glass shell reinforced with Carbon fibre for improved shock absorption and lighter weight.

Just like the entire SCHUBERTH collection, the C5 ANC benefits from the Anti-Roll-Off-System, connected with a chin strap in a new advanced position for improved comfort on the throat area.

SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM

The SCHUBERTH C5 sets a new benchmark in terms of comfort. The standard head pad has been developed to offer uncompromised comfort to all our customers, but those with "extreme head shapes" are usually forced to compromise with fit and sizes.

For SCHUBERTH compromise is not an option, so this is why with the C5 we are introducing the SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM. A specific program aimed to ensure the maximum comfort to the rider giving the option to customize the internal padding with more thickness options for sides, back and cheek pads.

VENTILATION

Ventilation makes the C5 ANC a game changer in the Flip-up helmet category. An optimum head thermoregulation maximises the rider's performance and comfort. For this reason, the C5 ANC is designed to combine the ultimate ventilation with the dual chin air intake with exchangeable filter, combined with a new back spoiler featuring air exhaust and exposed EPS ventilation channels.

VISOR MEMORY FUNCTION

It is always the little details that make the difference between a common helmet and a SCHUBERTH. Introduced for the first time on the E1 peak, the memory function feature is now also included on the C5 visor. With this function, whatever exact position is selected with the chin bar closed, will be maintained after opening, and closing the chin bar.
