Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger Octavefuzz/Ringmod/Phase Pedal
In the world of guitar effects pedals, there are not many that stand out as unique any moreuntil now. The all new Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger is what happens when a pseudo-Octavia fuzz and a ring modulator make sweet, sweet love. The child of this unlikely couple is the Crystal Dagger, an octave-fuzz/ring modulator/phase pedal that is unlike anything previously heard by the masses. The Fuzz side consists of a painstakingly created fuzz that produces a high gain crunch that is sweet and out of control at the same time. The octave effect can be switched in via a mini-toggle and adds a dimensional soundscape of upper-octave bliss to the fuzz tone. Now, here 's where the Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger gets interesting the Ring Mod side is pure evil. This side utilizes LFO-swept filter modulation that is run in parallel with the input signal. This allows the Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger to produce robotic ring-mod effects, shimmering pitch shifting, and full out phasing effects. The Frequency knob acts as both a speed control for the LFO as well as a carrier frequency control for the ring mod. This side of the Crystal Dagger can produce anything from alien swirls to synth-y ring mod effects. Sounds great, right? The real fun of the Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger comes when both effects are engaged. The signal goes from input to the Fuzz side to the Ring side (both circuits in series) and engaging both circuits produces some of the wildest sounds ever imagined. Leave it to Blackout Effectors to continue to innovate in a world of clones and copies. The Blackout Effectors Crystal Dagger is all analog, all new, and all original and will change the face of the fuzz world forever.

Quite good as a start grinder
Color: Silver
Very good burr grinder with very functional adjustments. Holds the perfect amount in 1 go for my pour over setup. My only critique is that is has 3 unconnected hopper sections that are quite small and hard to hit. I have to be very careful to not spill and one can fill before the other 2 causing some difficulties closing the crank, but it just takes some self adjustments to get around. Overall I'm very pleased with it for the price.

Great Quality, Great Price.
Color: Black
I have used this for a few days now and it works great. It is very well made and has a large range of adjustability. It is quite small and easy to store. Definitely worth the money.

Nice Grinder at a Great Price
Color: Black
I bought this to use primarily as a travel grinder and found that it is great for every day use. It is not meant for large amounts but it is perfect for single, smaller brewing situations. The grind selection worked well and I "dialed" the proper ground size for my single sized pour over coffee maker.

Ceramic burr destroyed itself
Color: Silver
For the first two-plus months it worked fine -- the perfect grind and the perfect amount with a full barrel for my oversized coffee mug.
I've been using it once daily, more or less, on a medium grind setting of 25, and this morning the ceramic burr started to eat itself. This is not acceptable.
Follow up:
Circle Joy contacted me and offered to give a full refund on this purchase, which was gratefully accepted. This is outstanding customer service.

Best price for better tasting coffee
Color: Silver
I am a coffee snob. I only get beans. I have been using a magic bullet blender to grind, which actually does extremely well, but the grind wasn't quite even enough. So I found the cheapest, ok quality grinder I could and bought this one. I absolutely love it. It take a while to grind, and it only does a little at once, but whatever. This thing works great and my grounds are now even. The burrs seem to be of decent quality and the whole device works smoothly.
