Sun sets on the city of Arkham. Citizens hurry home in the growing twilight, eager to find safety behind locked doors. Arkham has always played host to strange occurrences, but this time, something is different. Police respond to reports of disturbances, finding spilled blood and torn clothes but no sign of the culprits or victims. As reports pile up with each passing week, one thing is abundantly clear: something is stalking the streets after nightfall. Something dangerous.

Welcome to Children of Blood, a tale of danger and intrigue. In this small campaign expansion for Arkham Horror: The Card Game, one to four investigators tackle a new mystery that unfolds across three scenarios. Track monsters through the streets of Arkham, plumb the depths of the city’s underbelly, and crash a swanky party in Northside as you confront the culprit behind it all.

Can you solve the mystery plaguing Arkham’s Waterfront district?

Not a standalone expansion. A copy of the Arkham Horror: The Card Game core set is required to play.

  • A new Small Campaign Expansion for Arkham Horror: The Card Game, featuring three thrilling new scenarios that form a short and exciting campaign.
  • Investigators  track down the cause of recent disturbances in a mystery that takes them through Arkham’s Waterfront and Northside districts.
  • Children of Blood introduces a new chaos token—the blood token—which can slowly turn the investigators into monsters themselves.
  • Each scenario has added levels of variance based on the players’ chosen difficulty, inviting players to tackle them again and again!
  • A new campaign reward allows investigators to bring blood tokens into other scenarios of Arkham Horror: The Card Game, granting deadly power at the cost of their humanity.

Contents:

178 Scenario Cards, 12 Chaos Tokens, 19 Divider Cards, 1 Campaign Guide

Four Views on the Book of Revelation
Format: Kindle
Very thorough and even handed. Good selection of authors to represent various interpretive/ millenial systems. More depth on hermeneutics would have been useful as this is what generates the vast differences in opinions. Introductory coverage of different theological systems prior to the exposition of Revelation is helpful. Good intro to the topic for anyone who wants to get started and good selection of additional reading to supplement the positions taken.

Preterist view
Format: Kindle
I have never been exposed to the preterist view before. Very intriguing, but not long enough. And self referencing in some spots, seems like they think that you should know what they are talking about. For preterist view that is not always the case. I still don't get the postmil view.

Great book to compare different views on Revelation
Format: Kindle
Great book to learn more about contrasting views on the book of Revelation. Unfortunately many Evangelicals do not realize that there are different ways in which the book of Revelation has been approached by Christians. This is a good primer to this discussion.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!
