The Echeveria 'Madiba' is a stunning hybrid succulent that forms a large, solitary rosette. It is famous for its thick, pointed leaves that develop dramatic wavy or "curly" edges as the plant matures. This variety is a cultivated hybrid, believed to be a selection or cross involving Echeveria lilacina. It was developed to highlight the unique "crinkled" leaf mutation.
Its most remarkable feature is the textural transformation. Young plants have relatively smooth leaves, but as they age, the margins become increasingly ruffled and "carunculated," giving the plant a fierce yet graceful look. Its color is a beautiful silvery-grey to pale lilac, with leaf tips that turn bright blush pink or orange under bright light.
The flowers are typically a vibrant pinkish-red on the outside with a warm yellow interior. These bell-like blossoms stand high above the silvery foliage, creating a regal display that lasts for several weeks.

Needs full sun to very bright, indirect light. To achieve the tightest rosette and the most intense pink ruffles, aim for at least 6 hours of direct sunlight.
Use a highly porous, gritty succulent mix. A blend containing 70% mineral substrate (pumice, perlite, or grit) and 30% organic matter is ideal to ensure maximum drainage.
Prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F (18°C–27°C). It can tolerate higher heat if provided with adequate airflow.
Use the "soak and dry" method. Water the soil deeply until it drains out the bottom, then wait until the soil is 100% dry before watering again. Avoid getting water trapped in the ruffled leaves to prevent rot.
Feed lightly once or twice during the growing season with a diluted, low-nitrogen fertilizer. Overfeeding can cause leggy growth and weaken the plant.
Non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it a safe addition to a pet-friendly household.

my dogs really loved this toy. I would highly recommend this, but the squeaker is louder than normal so if noise bothers you, then I would not recommend.

Picky dog approved!

I have wasted so much money on dog balls that they won't even pick up! They finally were obsessed with the Kong rubber green/blue or red/blue ones, but they're $3+. each, and they break from the dogs squishing it. I honestly had zero expectations on these, and they BOTH picked them up on the first throw! That's huge!!
Seem to work fine in the ChuckIt.
As for the squeaker, at first I was like "Oh nooooo." when they both loudly started! Much to my (and my neighbors') happiness, the squeakers stopped working after a couple minutes. 🤣

Durable
Color: S6-muti-color
The balls are great for chewers. The squeaky didn’t last long but they are perfect for the ball launcher.

The squeeker isn't durable, but the balls themselves are.

I have two 70+lb, ball obsessed dogs (a field bred Golden Retriever, and an Old Time Scotch Collie), and these balls are living up to the abuse they're receiving.
In the fall we always lose a ball or two in the yard due to getting lost in leaves or longer grass, so I always try and buy a multi pack at the start of the season, so went with these this year. I'm glad I did. Great price for a 6 pack, they fit the medium Chuck-It launcher (a little loosely, but they throw just fine), have great bounce, they FLOAT (which means I didn't lose any at the beach), and they're super durable to the dreaded "mouth squish." The squeaker dies pretty quick, like, within a day, but it isn't the kind that can fall out or choke your dog, so no worries there.
The boys are happy, I'm happy, my wallet is happy - I've already ordered another pack.
